Rid yourself from Low Back Pain

Rid yourself from Low Back Pain

What to Do and what NOT to do for Low Back Pain

Remember back pain is a teacher, we must learn to listen to our body.

What NOT to do:

  1. Listen to your Body! Do not push through sharp, stabbing or shooting pain.

  2. Do not use heat with acute pain (rated 8+/10).

  3. Do not get a massage or do myofascial release when you are in acute pain.

What to Do:

  1. Rest and Ice the first 48 hours. You will want to use ice only for about 20min every/hour repeated thought-out the day.

  2. Strengthen your core and low back FIRST. Watch my video below on the four best exercises for Low Back Pain

  3. Stretch your low back second. Watch my video below on the four best stretches for Low Back Pain.

  4. If you have radiation going down your leg, focus on the Piriformis stretch for sciatic pain as demonstrated in my last video.
