Rid yourself from Low Back Pain
What to Do and what NOT to do for Low Back Pain
Remember back pain is a teacher, we must learn to listen to our body.
What NOT to do:
- Listen to your Body! Do not push through sharp, stabbing or shooting pain.
- Do not use heat with acute pain (rated 8+/10).
- Do not get a massage or do myofascial release when you are in acute pain.
What to Do:
- Rest and Ice the first 48 hours. You will want to use ice only for about 20min every/hour repeated thought-out the day.
- Strengthen your core and low back FIRST. Watch my video below on the four best exercises for Low Back Pain
- Stretch your low back second. Watch my video below on the four best stretches for Low Back Pain.
- If you have radiation going down your leg, focus on the Piriformis stretch for sciatic pain as demonstrated in my last video.
